Ham Farm Festival employs local teenagers for work-experience, paid at £6.40 per hour. There are two different jobs on offer in 2024:
1) STEWARDING - 16-17
This is a front-of house job, and includes welcoming the public, checking pre-paid tickets, selling tickets, answering questions, helping with parking and people-flow, selling drinks and/or merchandise, and generally being a positive representative for the Festival.
Successful candidates will need to be organised, reliable, trustworthy, positive, flexible, team-players, helpful and friendly. An interest in music is a big bonus.
To apply you need to be 16 or 17 on 25th July 2024, and you need to be entirely free from 26-28 July.
As this is a front-of-house, customer-facing job, we invite shortlisted candidates to an interview, before making a final selection.
2) FLYERING - 14+
This is a flexible job that can be done in evenings and weekends, at times that suit you, between 20 June and 15 July. It involves going from door to door, putting flyers through. You can choose how many hours you want to do, and work it around your schedule. You need to be very organised, noting which streets have been done and reporting back to us regularly.
To apply you have to be at least 14.
