Bristol East and Kingswood Brass Band are coming to perform for us while we eat our picnics or just enjoy the music and the sunshine (hopefully). The band will perform for 45 minutes in the hour, and the other 15 minutes are for demonstrating their instruments separately and answering all your questions - don't be shy, let's make this really interactive!
This is an open, drop-in performance, entry is free, and there is no need to book a ticket in advance.
There will be a bar selling drinks and ice creams (open from 12 until 2), or you can bring your own. There will not be food for sale at the venue, but we suggest you bring a picnic with you.

About BEAK
Bristol East & Kingswood Brass is an ensemble of musicians who aim to give high quality performances of traditional and contemporary music at both indoor and outdoor venues around the Bristol and Bath area.
The band’s roots are in 2 of Bristol’s best-known brass bands, Bristol East Band and Kingswood (Bristol) Band. The Bristol East Band was founded in 1892 for miners of the East Bristol coalfields and has had a continuous presence in the area ever since. The Band supports community events, local causes and charities.
BEAK welcomes new members. They rehearse every Thursday evening (19:45) at Wesley Memorial Church, Hanham. For more information please see their website or find them on facebook
