Sunday Lunch double bill
Sonority 18c
UHBW Choir

Sunday 27th July 1.30-2.45pm
Sonority 18c
1.30-2.15pm
Brought together by friendship and a shared passion for Baroque music, Sonority 18c is an ensemble based in Wiltshire which performs music from the 18 century on authentic, reproduction instruments. The ensemble includes 2 flutes, viola da gamba (also known as bass viol) harpsichord and soprano.

This is the first time we have had a Baroque ensemble perform at Ham Farm Festival, and it's a fantastic opportunity to see and hear these unusual instruments up close, experiencing the music as the composers had in mind: a whole new soundworld to explore and learn about.

UHBW Choir is comprised of colleagues from University Hospitals Bristol and Weston who meet weekly to sing for wellbeing and connection.

Led by Ellie Rusbridge since assembling in September 2021, the group sing a broad range of songs a cappella, ranging from Bulgarian chorus to Fleetwood Mac.

UHBW Choir have shared their love of singing with audiences at Bristol Cathedral, St Mary Redcliff Church and Bristol Beacon along with many hospital events and celebrations.
This is an open, drop-in performance, entry is free, and there is no need to book a ticket in advance.

There will be a bar selling drinks and ice creams, or you can bring your own. There will not be food for sale at the venue, but you are welcome to bring a picnic and arrive from 1pm to enjoy it in the grounds before the concert.
