7.30-8.30pm CarmenCo Trio
CarmenCo Trio (www.carmencotrio.com) are a locally-based trio who perform their own arrangements of orchestral pieces, opera, folk and world music, using mezzo voice or flute and two classical guitars. They perform entirely from memory and incorporate movement, dance and storyline into their concerts, as well as varying instrumentation from solo guitar through to voice/flute and two guitars, making their concerts and shows exciting and engaging for all ages.

Having toured their sell-out show A Pocket Opera (about Carmen) to more than 50 places over the last two years, from Orkney, Highlands, Cairngorms, Wales and Dorset to Kings Place in London, their reputation as innovators and stellar performers is well established all over the UK.

This concert will be a first outing of their new repertoire for their long awaited second show "My My My Delilah" which premieres in September 2026...  which takes an irreverant and tongue-in-cheek slant on the story of Samson and Delilah, featuring engaging and beautiful music by the likes of Saint-Saens, Verdi, Rossini, Tarrega…
