All ages are welcome to participate in this family-friendly ceilidh. Children are very welcome, but not necessary!
Third Time Lucky are a local ceilidh band who have performed at festivals across the UK and hosted ceilidhs in Bristol and surrounding areas. "We'll be taking you through an afternoon of fun dances with our own callers and band! With traditional and modern folk tunes, our energetic line-up of fiddles, guitar, keyboard, double bass and drums are bound to get you moving! Food and Drink
There will be a bar open, selling drinks and a selection of ice creams! Also please bring a picnic -the grounds will be open from 11.30, and there will be plenty of space for you to lay out your picnic rug and eat a bit between dances!
Can I drop off my child, or do I need to stay?
At least two adults will be present at all times, who are experienced with working with children and have all the relevant DBS checks and insurance. Therefore children age 10 and over are welcome to attend without an adult staying (they must be dropped off and picked up by an adult). Having said that, we hope families will all stay and participate together!
Tickets are £5 for all participants. Children age 6 and under are free, but will need to dance (as one person) with a participating adult, as they will struggle to follow the steps themselves.
