Ham Farm Festival employs local teenagers for work-experience, paid at £5.50 per hour. There are three different jobs on offer:
1) STEWARDING - 16-17
This is a front-of house job, and includes welcoming the public, checking pre-paid tickets, selling tickets, answering questions, helping with parking and people-flow, selling CDs and merchandise for the artists, and generally being a positive representative for the Festival.
Successful candidates will need to be organised, reliable, trustworthy, positive, flexible, helpful and friendly. An interest in music is a bonus.
To apply you need to be 16 on 27th July 2023, and you need to be free for the entire of 28-30 July.
2) FLYERING - 14+
This is a flexible job that can be done in evenings and weekends, at times that suit you, between 20 June and 15 July. It involves going from door to door, putting flyers through. You can choose how many hours you want to do, and work it around your schedule. You need to be very organised, noting which streets have been done and reporting back to us regularly.
To apply you have to be at least 14.
3) STAGE HANDS - 16+
We need some energetic helpers for a few hours on each of 14 July, 27 and 28 July and 31 July to help carry and put together the stage, chairs and gazebo. You do not need to be free for all dates- just let us know which ones you are free for in the application form.
