This workshop will be run by classical guitarist, and singer-songwriter David Massey. It will be interactive and collaborative - so rather than David standing at the front and teaching you, it will be more of a discussion, with breakout groups working together.
Tickets £10 for the two-hour workshop, from eventbrite.

Who is this workshop aimed at?
This workshop will be small numbers, and very much aimed at the people who sign up, and where they are with their songwriting journey. We are very much hoping for a spectrum of ages from perhaps GCSE up to retired - anyone who has had a go at writing their own songs and would like to improve them.
We suggest that you bring along a bit of a song you'd like to work on - it could be the lyrics and you want to work on the tune and harmony, it could be a finished piece that you think could be even better with some help from a professional and songwriting peers. It could be that you have the tune but not the harmony, or the chorus but need help with the verses, you get the idea!
Beginner songwriters are welcome, but do bring something to show - have a go at writing some lyrics or thinking up a simple tune you want to work on, before the class.
Bring your instruments wherever possible, (the instruments you use to compose your songs). We may have a keyboard available depending on Covid restrictions at the time.
